New Orleans Children’s Chorus
Our Mission
The New Orleans Children’s Chorus is dedicated to the development of artistry in every child. NOCC is known throughout the United States for their artistic excellence. Through the singing of high quality music the singers develop self-confidence, discipline and social skills as well as musical knowledge. The singers come from public, private, parochial and home schools in the metropolitan New Orleans area and meet once a week for rehearsal. No child who truly wants to sing is ever turned away.
Celebrating the 20th anniversary year of NOCC’s commission of Bob Chilcott’s A Little Jazz Mass, the Crescent City Choral Festival is a festival for treble and mixed choirs, June 27-July 1, 2025.
